Game Info
On a distant planet colonized by Earth, an extraction facility has been overrun by Critters, and it falls on you to clear them out. Intel says the Critters are holding most of the valuable energy cells inside the main building. But to enter it, you must first shut down the protective barriers outside. Luckily, the Reapers at your side were designed for this very purpose.
Barriers
The Base Game consists of 15 barriers, grouped 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5. Each barrier holds a symbol grid. Shut down a barrier to reach the next symbol grid (see Charges below). Shut down all 15 barriers to reach the Bonus Game.
Reapers
There are 5 Reapers at your side, used to eliminate Critters, collect Energy Cells and shut down Barriers. Each Reaper can be upgraded to unlock their own special ability.
Collecting
If a win cluster is formed, the Reaper of matching type will be placed adjacent to that cluster. All matching symbols and symbol clusters adjacent to the Reaper will be transformed into Energy Cells, collected and paid for.
Charges
For every 5 Energy Cells collected, the Reaper will enable 1 Charge.
The Charges are consumed when shutting down Barriers. The total amount of Charges needed to shut down a Barrier increases from the third barrier group (see Game Rules below for more info).
Special Abilities
Each Reaper has a special ability that makes it easier to progress and collect wins. The special ability is activated if a Reaper collects a Power Core.
Energizer
Makes all Reapers generate one energy cell. Once per symbol grid.
Linker
Links to other Reapers so that they can collect from each other.
Transformer
Transforms remaining purple symbols into another symbol type.
Expander
Collects symbols in a 4×4 area.
Erupter
Multiplies all its collected wins, up to 10X. The multiplier value is chosen randomly at the beginning of each symbol grid.
Bonus Game
Shut down all 15 barriers to reach the Bonus Game. The Bonus Game has 5 levels, each consisting of 75 symbol grids. Collect enough Energy Cells to progress to the next level. For each new level, one Critter is removed.
Juggernaut Reaper
The Juggernaut Reaper will collect all symbols and symbol clusters in a 4×4 area. Clusters with 5 or more symbols are always collected. The meter at the top indicates how much energy cells have been collected at this level. The meter at the bottom shows the number of symbol grids remaining at this level.
Introduction
Reapers is a 8×8 cluster pay slot game, featuring Layer Mechanic, Collector Mechanic and a Bonus Game. Theoretical average payout (RTP) can be found in-game. This game features a potential max win of 20,000x the bet made for the game round.
Layer Mechanic
The Layer Mechanic shows multiple symbol grids stacked in front of each other. Removing a grid will expose the next.
Collector Mechanic
The Collector Mechanic adds collector units on the grids that will collect symbols and symbol clusters within their range.
Win Evaluation
Matching symbols forming a cluster will pay according to the Paytable. Clusters of 5 or more symbols always pay. Clusters of 4 or less symbols pay only if collected (See section about Reapers below)
Features
Barriers
The Base Game consists of 15 barriers, grouped 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5, each holding 1 symbol grid. Clearing a symbol grid and progressing to the next requires the use of Charges (see section about Reapers below). Charges needed to clear a symbol grid at each Barrier group: Group 1 & 2: 1 Charge Group 3: 2 Charges Group 4: 3 Charges Group 5: 6 Charges Clear all 15 symbol grids to reach the Bonus Game.
Reapers
There are 5 collectors, called Reapers, one for each paying symbol. Whenever a cluster of 5 or more symbols is formed, the Reaper of matching type will be placed adjacent to that cluster. When a Reaper is present on the grid, all adjacent matching symbols or symbol clusters will be collected and paid for. For every 5 symbols a Reaper collects, it will activate 1 Charge. The number of symbols required to activate a Charge, as well as number of Charges activated, is displayed on the Reaper. A Reaper will stay in play until the game round ends, or the Bonus Game starts.
Special Abilities
Each Reaper has a special ability which can be activated by collecting a Power Core symbol. The Power Core will be collected when adjacent to the Reaper, or adjacent to a symbol collected by the Reaper. Special abilities exist only in the Base Game and will last until the game round ends.
Bonus Game
The Bonus Game begins once all 15 Barriers have been cleared. The Bonus Game has 5 levels, each consisting of 75 symbol grids. All 75 symbol grids will be processed once the level has started. All symbols and symbol clusters within, or partly within, the 4×4 area in the center will be collected and paid for. Symbol clusters of 5 or more symbols are always collected and paid for. To start the next level, enough symbols must have been collected.
