Progress
Only gladiator 1 is unlocked initially. The rest of the gladiators are unlocked by collecting golden shields. Each shield that lands on the reels is collected. On collection of 10 shields, gladiator 2 is unlocked. 10 more shields unlock gladiator 3 and an additional 10 shields unlock gladiator 4. Shields are removed from the reel strips on unlocking the last gladiator.
Gladiator 1
WILD symbol, size 1×2 on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. Substitutes for all paying symbols. May land fully or partially visible on the reels.
Gladiator 2
WILD symbol, size 1×4 on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. Substitutes for all paying symbols. Always lands in full view on the reels.

The scatter can land on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Game Progress
Any progress features in the game, including symbols locked onto the reels which affect subsequent spins, are saved for your game at the stake level you are playing at.
You can have different progress levels at different stakes on the same game, and move between them by changing the stake.
