Evolving Symbols
Pyremite, Tentaculus, Lunacarus and Swampbean are evolving Symbols. They exist in 4 different states of evolution. All of them can be replaced by Wild symbols. New evolving symbols can only land in view in state 1, 2 or 3.
Vial
The 5 Vial symbols can’t evolve and can be replaced by Wild symbols
Catalyst
There can only be one Catalyst symbol in view. If the symbol is cleared, a new Catalyst symbol can land in view.
Features:
Win + Cascade
Winning symbols will be removed and symbols from above fill the gaps. Gaps in the first row are filled by new symbols. This happens until no new wins are achieved.
Evolution Bonus Drop
The Catalyst symbol triggers only if no wins are left in view.
If less than 3 Evolving symbols are touching a Catalyst symbol directly or through another Evolving symbol, the Evolution Bonus Drop feature activates:
All Evolving Symbols (Pyremite, Tentaculus, Lunacarus, Swampbean) that are touching a Catalyst symbol directly or through another evolving symbol will be upgraded to the next stage of evolution.
After this evolution, the Catalyst symbol and all symbols that touched the catalyst symbol, which are non-evolving symbols (Vial-5, Vial-4, Vial-3, Vial-2, Vial-1) will be removed. This may start a cascade ending with the last win.
Chain Reaction
Catalyst symbol triggers only if no wins are left in view.
If three or more Evolving symbols are touching a Catalyst symbol directly or through another Evolving symbol the Chain Reaction Feature will be activated:
All three or more Evolving symbols that are touching a Catalyst symbol directly or through another Evolving symbol will evolve to the next stage of evolution. After that, all other Symbols and the Catalyst symbol will be removed. The remaining symbols fall to the bottom of the playfield and all blank spaces will be filled from the top.
Wilds that are touching Evolved symbols will not be removed. All other wilds will be removed.
This process continues until the entry condition is not met anymore. Now the wins will be settled.
Bonus Game
The Bonus Feature will be triggered when 3 or more Evolving symbols of the same colour in evolution state 4 are present in view. The trigger is stored and will activate after the entry conditions for feature 1-3 are not met anymore.
This triggers 2, 4 or 6 Free spins at 3, 4 or 5 symbols. The Evolving symbol that started the free spins becomes a Locked symbol. The Locked symbol will always appear fully evolved during free spins.
During free spins, all Wild symbols are expanded over one reel (5 positions) and can only be in view if there is enough room for a full 5x high Wild.
The Bonus Feature will be retriggered, if another Evolving symbol meets the entry condition. This Symbol will become Locked at in the fully evolved state too. Locked symbols cannot retrigger the bonus.
